This is me yesterday :) I did a test shoot with a photographer who is going to shoot for the Gap. This is unedited(notice the bags under my eyes) I literally rolled out of bed and had this shoot.. ahha but theres just a little taste of my life.. notice i'm still a cowgirl in my frye boots!! :)

WOW ITS BEEN FOREVA!!!

so I haven't written anything in AGES.. and I was reminded by my sister that some people still check to see if I've written(may) haha! so heres a short update on my life in LA..

1) I am a FULL TIME student at CSUN... yea.. lots of work

2) I am a model for dreamlife inc.(supplies to anthropologie, free people, forever21, etc).. learned a lot, such as how it only cost $4 to make some tops! AHHH!! Also do promotions for Activate Drinks, and do test shoots with photographers.. I've found that modeling is easier for me to do while in school since work is only one day long as opposed acting. So modeling pays bills!

3) I have a boyfriend.. Julian.. aka shmoolian..

4) I am having a B-LaSt!!!

5) I am meeting some stinkin' cool people...

6) I've seen tonz of celebs

7) My friends are coming to see me this thursday yeehaw!!!

and thats about it for now!! I am just havin a great time! I am going to post some new pics from some of the shoots ive done cause I think they're pretty kewl! keep looking because im going to update this bad boy every week from now on!

yowza its benn a while!!

So it has been a while since I last posted on here.. This is my first day since the last post that I've had time to blog! Haha I have been in classes all day everyday which I LOVE!!! I have had a blast in all of my classes! We had auditions for short films last week and made a good bit of them so on my days off.. Sunday and monday.. I shoot short films! It has been a lot of fun and I have met some of the coolest people but my beach days are over :( sad but its what I gotta do! There are a lot of students at nyfa from other countries so I have gotten to meet some of the neatest people.. And as for good looking boys.. Yes! I haven't even really gone out and still have seen some of the best lookers.. I'm telling you girls come to LA! Haha well I am about to go get ready but I'm also trying to think of some good stories.. I went to the gay pride parade yesterday in west hollywood it was so fun! Of course I'm not gay but here the parade was a HUGE deal so why not! They gave everyone rainbow beads and stickers that say "I don't care".. It was really fun! Well I am going to get ready... mom just left :(

Well, I just got back to my residence after mom just left... i must say i am pretty sad!! she helped out so much and i guess i never got homesick because mom was still here.. but now its here and im thousands of miles away! Tomorrow will be great because i will have plenty to do but today is my first day to be bored and have nothing to do... I will say i decided to go for a little stroll through my complex.. I think that every hott guy in california lives here!!! I just stop and stare haha... I decided to come into the concierge room to use the computer to see what hotties would show up in here hahah.. I'm pathetic.. It does make me feel better though.. i saw a really hott guy pull out while i was pulling into the gate.. they are never right to where i can talk to them and make friends.. GOSH WHATS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE haha.. well enough about boys.. i think i might go sit by the pool.. I am in full workout gear, not because i am going to work out, but because I wanted it to look like i was going to work out hahahha.. well thats all for now.. there will be more to come here later today.. maybe i can ichat with justin and see little bogart again.. he misses me i know it! haha well there will be more to come ASAP.. hey, maybe i'll make friends! pray for that k? YAYYY WE GOT TO HAVE PLAY TIME!!

lets move to the fourth day, which was wednesday.. For those of you who know I had a major hair mess-up in birmingham that i got fixed in Auburn but still was just so sick about the first time I was not satisfied.  My hair I think was about to fall out so I decided to make a hair appt. I ended up going to b2v salon (kim vo's salon for those of you who watch extreme makeover) and went to the greatest guy there who totally turned my life around!  While there they have little ladies that ask what you would like to drink.. it was a total treat!! and It cost the exact same as my place at home it was great.  Well, when i walk in i see vanessa minillo getting her hair done and as i am leaving my dude tells me that their might be paparazzi outside because britney spears is coming at  5!!!! i was like OMGGGG!!! so first celeb citing!! woop woop... So later that night me and Carrie went with Colin to Carnival, the choreographers ball!  It is a dance showcase that dance agencies and singers go to scout who they want in their agency or for backup dancers.. it was great!!! and guess who was there? ROBERT!  he took us up to this VIP upstairs place where we watched and Ciara was right in front of us!!! She was looking for backup dancers i guess?? she was gorgeous and had a great figure!! me and Carrie had a blast!! it was great to get out and do something fun instead of decorating and doing boring things like that!!  So yesterday we decided to get up and go to the beach!! Mom wanted to go to malibu and i knew of a beach that was in northern malibu called El Matador beach that is a private one Sara took me and rose to and we LOVED!! I figured why go to malibu beach when i know of a secret oasis?!?!?! So, we are driving to this beach and Carrie and Mom(mostly  mom) are starting to doubt where I am taking them and I said to use the bathroom before you leave because there is only a porta potty before you hike down the cliff to the beach.. for the first time I felt like a wilderness girl... who was it being the diva's saying they didn't want to pee in porta potties, MOM AND CARRIE!  I kept saying.. IT IS WORTH IT TO USE A PORTA POTTY TO SEE THIS PLACE!! who was right??? ME!  they LOVED IT!! you walk down this path to it and can see for miles and their are rock formations on the beach it was great!  We layed in the sun then went and GOT CHAIRS!! YAYYY we had no furniture in our den till now!! carrie is getting a couch but hasnt found a good one yet so we decided to go ahead and get chairs so that we have something to sit on in the mean time!!  Last night we watched monster-in-law wich was such a cute movie!! oh yea and we ate baja fresh yesterday!! We had a good day accept me and mom were scared of Carries driving hahah.. We have been giving poor Carrie a hard time not in a mean way but in a funny way ... aunt shay we need you here to  balance out so you can rag on us!!  I've learned that Carrie takes a little bit longer than I do to get ready so we are going to hike Runyon Canyon today and I am going to wake her up 2hrs in advance to give her PLENTY of time so that my Bill Bryant-ness doesn't have to come out!  Everything is progressively getting better.. we have had a great time but since we have all been spending so much time together and getting used to each others habits it has been a different process but I think we are all finally getting used to each others ways and figuring out how to balance each other out.. I think we are finally getting there!! I know that I have traits that drive people crazy so im just glad Carrie still wants to live with me haha!  Well I think mom is going to leave on Sunday... We have had great days.. and not so great days... spending a lot of time with your mom is great.. but spending a lot of time with your mom in LA moving in and doing stressful things is not as healthy haha... When we are just playing we have a great time!, but when we are moving in we bump heads a little bit.. I think sometimes we are wired differently!  Mom has been an amazing help though... Even though we have bumped heads a few times it is totally normal considering she has taken on such a change like this and moved me across the country!  well, today we are going hiking.. i am about to get Carrie up and well leave here in a bit!! I will keep you all posted on all of the activities and festivities to come!! peace and LOVE!!

ahh i am sooo behind!!

ok so this might be like a book but i am so behind on my blog so i have to fill you all in on everything!!  We are here in LA and in our apt! it has been sooo much fun!! The first day when we got here i'll admit I was being a BRAT... We were all tired from driving and had been cooped up for so long I was just completely irritable!  We moved in and slept on the floor because we got there so late in the afternoon we couldn't get our mattresses delivered till the next day! The next day we hit the ground running... but didn't really get anything accomplished haha  We would spend hours in a store and not get anything.. i think that is because mom and carrie aren't impulse people and can't make up their minds very quickly ;)  I have learned thus far and mom just keeps saying "YOU ARE SOOO BILL BRYANT".. If there is something we are going to do for the day i have the time we are going to leave and you better be ready when it comes time because I will tell you "we were supposed to leave 10mins ago" if i have to! haha I know it can be an annoying trait sometimes but in LA since it takes a while to get anywhere I think it will work to my advantage to make it to places on time and get more done in a day.  So that was our first errand day.  Our second errand day we decided to split up.  I am SO much better at doing things by myself!  If I just have a list of everything I need to get I can get it done in a jiffy!  In one trip to linens n things I got all of my bedding, sheets, window curtain panels, curtain rod, night stands, two lamps, two decorative pillows, and two normal pillows all on sale for a LOW LOW LOW price.. I could totally submit myself for design on a dime!  We had our beds already but mine was not the most comfy thing on the block.  I kinda pitched a fit when we got the beds cause the guy moved them in and everything and carrie said she would take the more firm one so it will be better for her back.. i thought YESSS cause i love soft fluffy beds!  If you've slept in my bed at home you know what I am talking about!  So when i went to lay on my bed it was HARD AS A ROCK!  and then i think oh man well if mine is hard carries must be AWEFUL!!  I go to lay on Carries and it feels like HEAVEN!  it was wayyyy softer than mine and it kinda made me a little emotional.. I think I was so tired from riding then me and mom were sharing space and I said I would have the smaller bathroom so I think I was just thinking I was getting the bad end of EVERYTHING.. which was only exaggerated because we were all soo tired(this was the day after we got here)  So I bought an egg crate and memory foam and now im in business... you girls at AU know how I sure can fluff up a bed!!  I think in auburn I had so much stuff on my bed if I sat up i'd hit the ceiling haha.  wow i got sidetracked and havent even gotten to the good parts.. let me create a new post for the new parts.. remember where we left off.. we had the good 3rd day where i got all of my stuff in one trip and we were all in better moods.. to be continued..

WE'RE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOWWWW!! WE ARE FINALLY HERE!! so, today we drove through the mojave desert for hours and hours... stopped for taco's then made it to where we are living!! I absolutely LOVE IT!! everyone has been so nice to us but we have one problem.. we got here so late that target is already closed haha tomorrow we will be looking for furniture etc. to have some slight decor in this place!! its really bare looking!! we did have one problem.. the leasing office closed already till tuesday and our fob to get into our building doesn't work.. we can get in through where we park and our garage gate opener works and stuff but we cant go to the pool or workout or anything till tues!!  o well i don't really work out anyway!! we will just be looking for stuff to put in this place till then... OFF TO EAT!! we are starving.. but call me!!!

im sick of driving!!!

Well its late and were truckin along to flagstaff arizona.. Yes we already went though new mexico! All I will say is INDIANS!!! Even the overpasses have aztec donkeys painted on them. The view was beautiful but after being in the hot western sun for hours it gets old!! We stopped in gallop which is where we planned to stay and we stopped at a teepee gas station.. Ok not really but it was indians running the place it was really weird and crazy but then we got right back on the interstate and saw some nice hotels kinda or nice for the desert haha its crazy I am so tired and I've hardly driven!! I rode with carrie most of the day and it seemed like every time we saw civilization whether it was or not we made it an indian reservation!! Hahaha. Its been a loooong day of driving.. O yea funny mom quote when we were at our hotel last night which was brand new and nice and we were checking out this am and there was the desk and then a shorter dest and mom asked the worker if the short desk was for little people big world!! We were like omg no she didn't!! Stay tuned only 6.5 hrs tomorrow and then well be in hollyweird!! Woop woop!!!

wwoooowwwww!!!!!!

Wow wow wow soo much!!were in wildorado!! I smell horse maneur from our car vents omgggggg and thousands of cows!!! The smell is so bad I don't know how people work here.. Before we hit stanky town we stopped in amarillo texas for some arby's.. First of all they were calling out your order over a loud speakerphone.. Aluminum microphone like the olden days.. Then it was filled with omish people!! I mean why do the guys get to dress normal?? Then we go into the bathroom and carries stall doesn't have any TP so she asks for some and all I had was an industrial sized roll sitting on the floor so I passed it over!! But even before we got to amarillo we saw a sign that said "prepare for the largest cross in the western hemisphere" and there it appeared the most ginormous cross I've seen in my entire life.. Atleast the size of the sears tower it was amazing and God was all around us! I took many pics and don't worry as soon as we get to LA I am posting every picture I have thus far!! So were still going next stop albuquerque!! Then flagstaff, AZ then sleepy time!! Peace

Hahaha so we are finally in Texas!! I will have to say oklahoma was very pretty and we saw large scary windmills, pretty though!!! We stopped in texas cause moms car charger broke! I finally jumped in the car with carrie!! I knew it was fate for us to be together when I saw that she has a blinged out iPod like mine yayyy hahahha me and mom were kinda bumping heads "jenna don't go 80mph get in the other lane" when she herself went 80 all day yesterday so she's driving now.. Me and carrie are just jammin livin life on the open road.. Next 18 wheeler I'm going to do the arm honk thing so that I will get honked at not for being a bad driver but because were two southern chiks goin out west baaha wow just saw the bates motel

Ahahhah carrie held up my body wash last night and asked if she could use it.. I said yea! Then a few minutes later she's rubbing it on her hands I'm like what r u doing?? She was like "isn't it lotion?" Bahaha she had already put it all over her legs!! Bahhaha

Wowzaaaaaa!!! Ok so I had a GREAT night in oklahoma!! A bff had moved to oklahoma after sixth grade and I go to see her last night!! Drumroll please... SAMANTHA RUSSELL!! She met us where we were staying the night and we ate at buffalo wild wings and caught up on old times.. I knew we were going through ole oklahoma for a reason!! She reminded me of lots of memories and yes BDT girls she asked about every single one of you!! It was so amazing to see samantha and she's all grow'd up!! I love her!! Maybe shell come out to LA and visit!! Just to share a memory with you she reminded me of when me and rachel pegues tried to convince her that me and pegues were cousins.. We said that since she doesn't have brown hair she's not our cousin! Bahahah crazy little kids!! We had a great night then went sleepy time.. Up already to hit the road again!!!

I would like to thank AAA for providing triptiks for our route(I learned that if there is a teepee on a map it is not an indian reservation it is a campground).. Also Blackberry, many people have asked "jenna how are you writing on the road" well my handy blacberry world has provided me with mobile web usage that can be used anywhere.. And also Garmin.. My Nuvi has helped me through it all when I need to find fast food it tells me right where to go.. It even shows me lakes and golf courses.. Maybe when we go through the desert sunday it will show me a gas station :) ok so companies call me!

wow so much has happened!!

Ok wow I am so behind because it was my turn to drive.. I only lasted 2 hrs go figure.. Let's see we met Carrie in memphis at this really cool mcdonalds(not really cool and 2nd mcdees stop of tha day).. I got a chicken thingy. And then we got gas at a truck stop and hit the road. All I have to say is I am starting a coalition against 18 wheelers.. There was one that was going sooo slow so I passed it then it got right behind me on my tail and started honking.. I got out of the way prettty fast and then it killed my pride. It always makes me feel stupid when people honk at me. So I was sick of driving and trucks so we made out next stop in little rock arkansas.. Little rock is little alright and not very pretty but what WAS pretty was the KFC/Taco Bell we stopped at for gourmet dining.. Carrie got nachos bell grande while I got a caramel apple empanada that had been sitting by the kfc chicken all day it was not that great but my suicide sure was!! Yes, I still drink suicides with food I eat like my shoe size not my age!! while I was leaving the taco line I bumped into this 12368 pound dude in a wife beater I can still feel his sweat and first meal on my arm yuck!! Haha so this sure is a funny trip well next stop oklahoma city!! More to come soon..

So, I am reading my blogs out oud to my mom after I post them and she said I am not being very lady like.. Excuse my craps, farts, and teetee's I will try to keep the potty language to a minimum but sometimes its all that works to prove a point. I figure if those are the worst words I use in my lifetime I'm not too bad afterall.. But for moms sake, ill CuT iT oUT! Haha o yea and its raining.. life on the road.. well for only a bit so far!

Well, we are on the road!! It wasn't easy getting in the car though. I decided at the last minute since I wouldn't see little bogart for a while to have him sleep with me. He was absolutely adorable sleeping on his side.. Then 2am came.. He started crying at the end of the bed.. Me, being lazy and half asleep took him onto my balcony to teetee and I think he had a gallon in his tiny body.. I thought that would have done it but nope.. Little booger kept crying so I put him in his cage and struggled to fall asleep. Slept through my 430 alarm and woke up at 530 to leave at 6.. Yikes no good.. I didn't get to shower or anything so I am sulking in my own dirtiness as we travel to meet carrie in memphis.. I feel gross but o well who cares right? I'm comfy and going to california so I don't really care! The car is pretty piled up though its pretty sad!! Well so far just jammin to sheryl crowe and such as we scoot along.. We have all our books and maps.. I just hope we get there safely with all my crap in here haha.. Thank you garmin for leading the way.. Peace love and I hope no one farts in here cause its a tiny space.. No mexican for me!

packing the car

so, I am about to make the biggest roadtrip of my life.. i am driving from ALABAMA TO CALIFORNIA.. lets see.. where do i begin.  I will start by saying that i am fitting all of my crap into a little bitty car successfully.  Thats always good right?? almost my whole back seat is full of pictures my sweet friends made for me!  I love it!  My mom is packing also and is getting angry right this moment because i am not done yet hahhaha.  She's a trooper though especially for letting me go!!  Well i think i have everything, 25 pairs of jeans, 16 pairs of shoes, 36 dresses, a million shirts and 21 scarves bahahha  We are starting at 6am and meeting my cousin Carrie in Memphis, TN.  It is going to be a loooong day... we are going to finish the day in Oklahoma City and stn... I think though we will stop a few million times and it is going to be funnnyy.. just wait till the second day when we get to gallup New Mexico.. I think our pit stops will be the best..  I am so excited about our trip and my journey in California and stay tuned for funny stories and much much more TOMORROW!! yyayyyyyyyyyyy
